Woodletter Collages

The Old Printing Shop of London has created a unique art form with a historical printing background. Woodletter collages are crafted from wooden poster type by Michael Fenton and his sons. The variations in the wood used for each letter and the ink that over the years has permeated the grain, makes for a colourful and fascinating composition. There are four standard sizes of woodletter collages, all suitable for display as wallhangings or simply as an ornament on a mantelpiece. Each collage is unique, so the pictures shown here should be used as a guide to appearance.

Woodletter collages can be designed to order around a letter or number of your choosing for a slight additional charge, and larger woodletter collages can be produced to special order.
